Hilary A. Evans, MA, CCC
Hilary is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (#10005210) with the Canadian Counselling & Psychology Association and holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She primarily practices from an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) approach, and commonly draws on Relational Cultural Theory. In addition, Hilary also frequently use interventions from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed approaches.
Hilary provides therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Her counselling approach is centred around respect, safety, and authenticity. Together, she will walk through client’s concerns and work towards healing, gaining insight, and making changes that align with their values and goals. She tailors her approach to fit the goals and strengths of each of her clients. Her goal is always to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and warm space for clients during the sessions while giving them a therapeutic experience that is tangible and directly applicable to what they’re going through.
